NC, FL, GA Concealed Carry Certification

My Concealed Carry Pistol class is limited to five (5) students, thus enabling students to have more opportunities to ask questions during class and to receive individualized instruction and guidance at the shooting range.

This class provides requisite training for concealed carry cetification in North Carolina and Florida. Georgia residents, though not required by law to complete training for a concealed carry permit, nonetheless, are strongly encouraged to take this class. By North Carolina law, this course contains a minimum of 8 hours of classroom instruction, including 2 hours on North Carolina law, plus additional time qualifying at the range.

The instructor will provide pistols and ammunition, so please do not bring any firearms or ammunition into the classroom.

There is a 30 round minimum shooting qualification, so expect to shoot more than that. It is required that you bring both eye and ear protection and a garment that you will use for drawing from concealment. Prior to live shooting, the instructor will lead you through dry practice exercises that will prepare you for the shooting qualification. Those who pass the course will receive a Certificate of Completion, which you must submit to the proper State authority as part of your application for the permit/license.

Tuition is $125 and includes your own NCJA textbook, "Concealed Carry Handgun Training," written examination on the law, and Certificates of Completion (for qualifiers). In the classroom you will be offered coffee, breakfast snack, light lunch, and water throughout the day. At the range, I will provide 9mm pistols, ammunition, OWB holsters and magazine pouches. Other classes may cost less, but do not provide everything included here!
